Letter 1936, August 6, New York City. [to] Miss. Dickson, [Staten Island] / Virgil Markham. 1936.

Virgil is telling Miss Dickson that Markham is in Mexico City giving a lecture with his secretary Florence Hamilton. Virgil is handling Markhams correspondence while he is gone. He suggests it is feasible to connect his father to the Muse. Our Israfel is his finest tribute to Poe. Refers to John Macy compiling a volume American Literature by American Writers with and article that Mr. M wrote which was fine. He Agan refers to the Muse and Poe.
